Through her ministry in various congregations including Bishop Sargant Memorial Church, Bethlehem Church, Platt Memorial Church, Karunalaya Church, Byappanahalli Church, Immanuel Church, Magadi Road, St. Matthew’s Church, St. John’s Church, KGF, St. James Church, KGF, Christ of Calvary Church, Good Shepherd Church, St. John’s Church, Bangalore, Divya Shanthi Church, and St. Thomas Church, Chamarajpet, she has touched countless lives through pastoral care, preaching, teaching, visitation, prayer and leadership.
In addition to her faithful pastoral ministry, Rev. Her leadership, administrative commitment, and vision for the growth of the Church have strengthened many congregations and inspired fellow workers in ministry.
Behind every faithful ministry stands a family that journeys together in sacrifice, prayer, patience, and encouragement. We gratefully acknowledge the unwavering support of Rev. Joshua and the entire family, who shared in the joys and challenges of ministry life. Their quiet strength, understanding, and partnership have been an invaluable source of encouragement throughout the years of service rendered to the Church and the Diocese.
We also acknowledge with gratitude their daughter, Miriam Joshua, son-in-law Ravi Jayakumar Faszer, and beloved granddaughters Hannah Hilda Faszer, Zoey Ruth Faszer, and Eliana Deborah Faszer, whose love, support, and prayers have been a blessing to the family throughout this journey of ministry and service.
Together, as a family, they have reflected the love of Christ through hospitality, care for people, commitment to the Church, and steadfast faithfulness in ministry. Their life and witness have inspired many within the congregations they served.
As Rev. Salome Joshua completes this phase of active pastoral ministry, we thank God for the family’s faithful witness, sacrificial service, and enduring dedication to the mission of Christ. The impact of their ministry and support will continue to remain in the hearts of many for generations to come.
